China has announced that it will be easing its travel restrictions for On Board Couriers (OBCs) as the country continues to see a decline in new coronavirus cases.
No quarantine required
According to the General Administration of Customs, our team of On Board Couriers will now be allowed to enter China without the need to quarantine, provided they can present a negative COVID-19 test taken within the past 72 hours and have not visited any high-risk countries in the past 14 days. This includes most of the countries in Europe. Previously, all On Board Couriers were required to undergo a 14-day quarantine upon arrival in China.
The easing of travel restrictions will also allow for the resumption of certain international flights to China and will probably recover a lot of previous pre-covid flight routings, with some safety measures in place. As MYOBC, we’re fully eligible of operating urgent logistical shipments to China.
The decision to ease travel restrictions for OBCs comes as China continues to make progress in its vaccination efforts, with over 300 million doses having been administered nationwide.
